Sunday 20th July 2008 Reborn of a sort... I had a super wonderful day. I think I can really, really love my church family. Thank you so much, you guys. I owe one happy rest day to all of you, ALL OF YOU! ::sends out hearts to everyone:: Because I have a lot to ramble about, I’m going to cut. Because. There are things that make me a little… giddy. ♥ So for starters, John called everyone yesterday about passing out flyers and such for today, and after we all rounded up on the decision for meeting at the church to gather at 10am, I bounded out first thing in the morning for WAMU to deposit my paycheck and off to church. I was perhaps five minutes late, but NOBODY who’s doing anything for our VBS were present. At least I couldn’t find them, but I heard later on that Steven was around. Anyhoo, Gabriel and Joycelyn came with Auntie Selina and soon Renata arrived, and we yakked for a bit waiting on John, who ended up being over twenty minutes late. :D We gathered to talk about where to go and the distribution of VBS flyers, only to find out that John left his box of flyers at home. 8DDD So uh, Choo family left out with our only stack of flyers and the rest of us… figured out something to do, mainly sending John off home to get flyers and lols. Kevin came in with flyers eventually, so we had that to work with, but Jonathan and I were sharpie’ing the large posters, and Steven and Renata alternated with doing that too. AND THEN instead of going out immediately, we ate. YAY FOOD!! I didn’t eat dinner last night nor breakfast, obviously, so I pigged out on the rice platter and yummy grass jelly dessert stuff Auntie Winnie prepared. Mmm~! John got back by the time we were ready to head out, so Renata and I went out ourselves to distribute. We hit quite a few places, and we were successful at passing out flyers!! *_* I was sooo tired from smiling like :DDD at everybody, supermarkets, random tutoring places, and the mall. I had the most difficulty smiling at the mall since we were hunting down anyone who had a child with them and smiling really works… Renata’s always a smiley one, but me.. I tire out. o___x;;; So after somewhere like two or three hours, we went back to church and.. bible study was pretty nonexistent. LOL. We were all so tired we were just rambling about random things, mainly I am so glad I’m not the only pianist at church, there’s plenty of us! Uncle Enoch to the rescue, Uncle was going to make me improvise accompaniment for a song, goodness gracious I can’t do that, but YAY FOR UNCLE ENOCH! ::cheers:: During service, I sat next to Jonathan and John (lol the names) and I think Jonathan and I were goofing off too much. 8D Oops. Him and his “iPhone 3G” hahaha~~~! After service, we discovered Steven has brownies at home. I want brownies. :O He didn’t bring us any brownies. ::sniffles:: I did stuff myself with chocolate chip cookies before potluck (I didn’t ravage the dessert table I swear!) and gorged out on food, mainly the garlic bread. God, SO GOOD! Our youth group ended up eating in the room we have bible study, as we do quite often, and my my, where are our minds!! We were telling jokes, talking about things that are NOT food appropriate Instead of going to choir practice today, I busied myself with helping out with VBS stuff after potluck. It was a lot of fun! I’m so totally not going to learn all those song dance steps. Anyway. I discover some pretty interesting things about our youth group, like how Joseph likes some seiyuu My favorite part was when we played some practice games for the game section. From the looping through hoola hoops while holding hands in a row to partners getting up while arms linked back to back to fruity scented bubbles being blown everywhere making the courtyard smell like Fruit Loops cereal, it was a blast. Irene’s brother was filming us a lot, including our failing attempt at fixing the pole outside the church LOL. So funny. Renata and I did one laminating sheet for a bookmark and realized how slow the machine(s) would take and I think we’ll opt to get it laminated “professionally” or something.. or I think Renata said Jonathan knows some Auntie who can do that for cheaper or something. ::shrugs:: After all the official stuff, Joseph and I were babbling a bit more about seiyuu and Anime Expo, because apparently he was there on Friday and DIDN’T TELL ME AND HE MISSED SEKITOSHI ARGH, and yeaaah! It’s so awesome, SOMEONE AT CHURCH WHO KNOWS WHAT THE HELL I’M TALKING ABOUT! 8DDDD Okay so I’m overly obsessed with my beloved seiyuu, what am I supposed to do about that. 8D Anyway, I headed out to dinner afterwards with Auntie Carmen and her kids because Stanley misses having dinner with me, my squishy chibi-chibi, and we watched the Miss Hong Kong 2008 Pageant finals. Argh. I knew who was going to win already, she’s tall, the cute HK thing lately all over her childish face, and whatever. Our pageants have been going down the pipeline, so it wasn’t like I expected something great to turn up anyway. And that’s it lol, I went home. IT WAS SUCH A FUN DAY!! Even getting carsick while Renata and I were out distributing flyers was fun, well not the carsick part but it was fun!! :DDD On last notes, I need to make sure I dispel any weird rumours Jonathan is spreading about me. :OOO KIDS!! STOP TELLING PEOPLE WEIRD SHIT ABOUT YOUR ELDERS!! Wait, crap, I’m not that old, CRAI~~~! Oh and they are not together, I sort of confirmed it today, so uh.. does it mean I can consider it more now…??? 8D Oh well.
To play or to fight?
