Series: Weiß Kreuz

Notes: I mock Wei?boys' inability to handle technology, with the exception of Omi. Written for SaraMichiru -- this is what you wanted, right? ^_^ Enjoy the drabble.

If this had been a mission, Balinese would've failed miserably. Floppy discs were one thing, but writing a CD-R was beyond him. Good thing Bombay was in charge of these more delicate matters.

Kudou Youji prodded furiously at the keyboard, glaring at the monitor over his lowered sunglasses and growling like Aya staring at Takatori's picture. "What is this? Why doesn't this work?" He jammed the CD eject button once more, flipped the empty media back and forth in his hand, and placed it back in the tray, shoving it back in less gently than the last time. "Work, Bombay, work!"

"You called?" A head popped in the doorway. Omi was stirring something in a large bowl, which he clutched firmly to the brown apron over his stomach. With a funny grin on his face, the youngest member of the household strolled over to Youji and giggled. "Youji-kun, what are you trying to do on my computer?"

The brunette snarled, not at Omi of course, but at the error message that popped up everytime he clicked 'Burn now.' He couldn't figure out why the computer kept telling him there was no disc in the drive. He checked the tray at least five times by now, and he put it back in everytime. So why was the computer mocking him?

Leaning in cautiously so that his bowl wouldn't topple, the blue-eyed teen blinked at the error message that flashed repeatedly, thanks to Youji's snappy index finger at the mouse. "Hmm, no disc, did you put in a blank CD-R from the spindle on my shelf?" he upnodded at the shelves above the monitor.

"Yes, and I did every step you showed me last time."

"Did you put it into the right drive?" the boy tilted his head curiously.

"Yes," Youji tapped the second tray on the tower.

"And what are you trying to write on that CD?"

"Music."

"What happened to your radio-cassette player?"

Youji stared at Omi, returning the silly grin.

He had to laugh, he really had no idea what Youji was up to. He would gladly find out now, but he was in the middle of stirring up a batch of cake mix for dessert tonight, not to mention he abandoned the rest of the dishes he was making in the kitchen. "I'll help you later. I got to finish cooking dinner before Aya and Ken get back. Do something useful for the time being!" he scolded sweetly, walking out the door to return to his post.

Something useful, well why not, he's better in the kitchen than on the computer anyway. Youji grinned to himself and pulled off his multicolored t-shirt and headed out to help Omi. Shirtless.

Soothing yet arousing jazz music purred and crooned seductively, flooding the inner eye with delights of crushed velvet and rose colored wine glasses splashing with fragrant champagne. The blonde snuggled comfortably in Youji's arms, nudging his nose into the nape of his neck. "Thanks for compiling this playlist," he whispered softly, still a bit out of breath.

"Anything for you," he drawled, swallowing a sigh of relief. "Well no, it was for me too," he added, chuckling, then got rewarded in the form of a light smack on the ass. Youji did wonder, why was it that he couldn't burn the CD himself though? Omi would've been happier if he had surprised him with his downloaded collection of romantic music.

"By the way, Youji-kun, you had the CD-R upside down."
