Squall and Rinoa are outside on the balcony during our victory celebration, doing Hyne knows what. He left me in here alone, with this unusually shy girl from the library too. At least Selphie finally got the committee to serve hotdogs during these classy occasions. Two for me, none for you.
Just what are you doing outside anyway? Stargazing, right? I hope I'm right. Damn these hotdogs are good.

"Are you all right buddy??" Irvine mocks me. Who cares if he just saved my hind, he's still a bastard. I push them off angrily - nobody understands. The shy girl, I didn't quite catch her name, fled instantly when I started choking. So much for her affection.
After everybody's left and my lungs are free from chunks of sausage and bun, I look around for any sight of him. I might as well choke to death here, and he still won't come to my rescue. Some friend he is, can't even take his eyes off Rinoa for one second. Did he forget about our kiss already? Do I have to be the one rescuing him in order to get his attention? Maybe if I choke on my next hotdog, I'll get him to notice me. Just maybe.. and if he doesn't, well.. might as well die trying.
